Yes because of Chinese netizens out number Korean netizens out there, our Korean member will out number by them.

With exploding membership, we can control the membership by closing the membership facility. Some forum do this to control the trolls.

All console needs is their IP addresses, he doesn't need to ban them.
Btw, some trolls use random IPs, so it's useless.

The effective way to control the trolling is to remove any flame baits & their comments from the forum, I don't why AF is not doing that. Locking the threads only inflame the trolls and other members who were defending it.

I think you should really go ahead with this. We need a forum of our own and the way the format is now, it's too not accessible. There is no sense of having few members to agree amongst ourselves. One of the goals is to get our information out into the world to counter the Chinese and Japanese, and by just hiding here, we're not achieving anything other than preaching to the already converted choir.

It's not that we're going to convince the haters who are determined to make us look bad, it's about educating the people who don't know and who sit in the fence.

Make this site a Korean history/culture discussion site and invite everyone in. Don't be afraid of the trolls, not always are they bad. They can do a useful service to draw people in. Just IP ban the worst behaviored ones. It won't stop them from using proxy, but that would mean for them, more work and more time used up.

I think the best thing to do is to Show the IP addresses of each posts.
The biggest problem that I see on many boards is that troll use multi accounts and pose as different characters. Showing the IP address of each posters will cut down on this trick and make posers work harder to find proxy servers.

I really think you should go ahead and do it.

^Yeah but make some rules about behavior if we don't already have one. Or console can act like a Mandate of Heaven and keep and kick whoever he likes. ^^
